Setelah usaha Hoo mengalami kemunduran pada tahun 1883, rumah tinggalnya dipindah tangankan ke Oei Tjie Sien, bersamaan dengan rumah tinggal di Gedung batu, sehingga bangunan ini ditempati oleh Oei Tjie Sien (ayah dari Oei Tiong Ham). Pada jaman Oie Tjie Sien ini tamannya diubah. Kemudian setelah ditinggal oleh Oei Tiong Ham, bangunan ini terkenal sebagai Oei Tiong Ham TUin atau Kebon Gergaji. Oei Tiong Ham merupakan orang penting pada jaman itukarena merupakan jutawan Indonesia yang terkenal hingga luarnegeri. Hingga tahun limapuluhan, kebun ini dibuka untuk umum pada hari raya tertentu dan masyarakat dapat menikmati keindahan taman sambil melihat koleksi binatang peliharaannya.

Game keluaran EA Games ini nampaknya menjadi salah satu game favorit juga loh. Terbukti dengan banyaknya pencarian soal PC game The Sims 3. Dan juga cara mendapatkan game The Sims 3 gratis dan tidak perlu terganggu masa trial.

Star Craft II - Wings Of Liberty

Jakarta - StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty merupakan sekuel terbaru dari game strategi legendaris StarCraft. Meski hampir berubah total, namun game ini masih menyisahkan beberapa ciri khasnya dari versi terdahulu. Sebut saja hadirnya Jim Raynor sebagai tokoh utama, dan beberapa karakter lain seperti Tychus Findlay dan lainnya.

Cerita dalam Wings of Liberty pun dibuat terkait dengan versi terdahulu, pemain akan menjumpai musuh utama yang tak lain adalah Mengsk, pemimpin bangsa Terran.

Karena bersifat arogan dan cenderung bertangan besi, maka dalam permainan ini gamer memiliki tujuan utama untuk menggulingkan pemerintahan Dominion yang telah lama dikuasai oleh Mengsk.

Bikin Game Strategi Lain Terlihat Jadul
StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty bisa dibilang sebagai game strategi terkini yang mengadopsi banyak fitur menarik. Hal itu pun akhirnya membuat kebanyakan game sejenis terlihat jadul.

Blizzard banyak sekali melakukan pembenahan pada Wings of Liberty, mulai dari sistem permainan hingga tampilan grafis yang amat memukau.

Meski kental dengan nuansa strategi, namun game ini memiliki keunikan tersendiri berkat beberapa elemen sistem permainan yang menarik.

Sebagai pengantar cerita misalnya, pemain akan ditampilkan sebuah video dengan kualitas grafis yang menakjubkan. Detail masing-masing sangat tajam dan begitu nyata.

Jadi, meski sebagai game strategi tulen, Wings of Liberty juga memiliki sistem permainan yang bakal mengingatkan gamer pada Mass Effect 2.

Kualitas grafis pun meningkat secara signifikan dari seri terdahulu. Mulai dari animasi pertempuran yang heboh, efek ledakan yang dahsyat, hingga tahap pembangunan yang begitu realistis membuat game ini sangat mengibur.

Jadi tidak heran jika telah cukup lama memainkan StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, maka game strategi lain akan terasa ketinggalan jaman alias jadul.

Wajib dengan Akun Battle.Net

Sama halnya dengan game besutan Blizzard lain. Pada StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty pemain juga diwajibkan memiliki akun pada layanan Battle.net. Lalu apa manfaat akun tersebut?

Jika memiliki akun di Battle.net maka gamer dapat memainkan Wings of Liberty secara online. Cara ini justru yang paling mengasyikan ketika gamer telah tuntas menyelesaikan semua misi pada modus campaign.

Selain bisa bermain secara multiplayer, gamer juga akan lebih banyak mendapatkan beberapa fitur lain seperti, terkoneksinya ke jejaring sosial Facebook. Dengan ini, pemain dapat mengundang semua temannya yang ada di dalam Facebook untuk memainkan bersama Wings of Liberty.

Namun yang amat disayangkan dalam game ini adalah, tidak tersedianya permainan multiplayer melalui Local Area Network (LAN). Entah apa alasan utama Blizzard menghilangkan fitur yang paling digandrungi tersebut. Meski demikian, Wings of Liberty tetap asyik dimainkan baik secara online atau offline.

TOKYO – Setelah mendominasi lapangan selama bertahun-tahun, Pro Evolution Soccer besutan Konami boleh dibilang telah jatuh di balik persaingan game sepak bola. Namun tim pengembang tampaknya menyadari hal ini, maka dari itu mereka menjanjikan perubahan mendasar untuk Pro Evolution Soccer 2011.

“Sudah saatnya untuk PES untuk mengubah, dan PES 2011 merupakan redesign paling ambisius dalam seri ‘sejarah’ tim pengembang Konami,” Kata ketua Studio Jon Murphy, seperti dikutip 1Up, Rabu (5/5/2010).

“Kami sudah terus bekerja sama dengan para fans untuk mengetahui apa itu tentang sepak bola. PES sebelumnya tidak melakukannya dengan maksimal, ” tambahnya.

Ia melanjutkan, kebebasan Total prioritas dan grafis animasi baru harus terjadi di PES 2011. Perombakan total di PES 2011 menjadi sangat penting, apalagi jika Konami ingin memberikan yang terbaik bagi penggemar setia PES.

Edisi berikutnya PES Konami menjanjikan kontrol yang lebih penuh saat pemain menggiring bola, dan mulai mengadaptasi fitur online di fitur Master League. Murphy berjanji bahwa penggemar akan harus “belajar kembali bagaimana mereka bermain.”

Meskipun tidak memiliki lisensi di FIFA, Pro Evolution mempunyai penjualaan yang bagus berkat kecepatan pada mekanika kualitas simulasi, seperti Master Liga.
